Spoon Fishing Lures
I need some fishing advice. Lures ,spoons ,or real bait??? And how should I Rig it???
I will be fishing in NY on Pier. What kind of bait can I use And how should set it up?

It sounds like you’re going to be doing salt water fishing. I’d suggest you get a rig with a heavy weight – like a 7 oz (it’s shaped like a pyramid), and attach it to a rig that has 2 leaders, each with a small, single hook. Bait the rig with blood worms, and fish it off the bottom. You’ll catch all kinds of stuff. This time of year, you should be able to catch a bunch of croaker up there, maybe even some rockfish.
